Let's Talk

Understanding Patina

This item is crafted from high-quality vegetable-tanned leather, known for its ability to develop a rich, natural patina over time. As you use it, the leather will respond to your daily life—darkening with sunlight, softening with touch, and gaining depth from exposure to the elements. These subtle changes create a piece that is uniquely yours, carrying the marks of time and experience.

No two pieces will age the same way, making patina one of the most special qualities of vegetable-tanned leather. Rather than wearing out, it wears in—becoming more beautiful, full of character, and telling a story that is completely personal to you.

  • This piece is entirely handcrafted using traditional leatherworking techniques. From cutting the leather to stitching and finishing the edges, every step is carefully done by hand in my workshop in Lebanon. It’s a process that takes time and attention to detail, ensuring each item is made to last.
